Title: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Anyone seen this?

I finished the first 26 episodes yesterday; and it took a little bit of digesting! I now think I understand it; and for anyone who hasn't watched it yet I have one suggestion. Pay attention to the chapter titles because they really help!

I enjoyed it anyway. The series is continued as "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai" which promises to provide further answers. This started as a game, but the anime has extra chapters. It's not available to buy - probably ever, so you'll have to resort to fansubs.

There is also supposed to be a special called "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gaiden Nekogoroshi-hen" but I'll be buggered* if I can find a copy. It was a limited edition only available to those that bought the DVDs in Japan.

There's also a third season to be aired next year; but I guess we'll have to wait :D

There's also a live-action movie. I'm not usually big on live action, but it rather depends on who plays who. I am after all, a huge pervert above all else :D

*it's on Animesuki listed as the special. D'oh!
I'm seeding it now if anyone wants...

Damn it. Still downloading it. Had to stop with Kai as the series started referencing back to 1st series at around ep 6.

Also, you know channel 4 been showing Ghibli films in the morning? Tis awesome.

I've watched the first series, the special, and now I'm upto ep. 10 of Kai.

It gets really good :D

The Mion and Shion thing in 1seasion got a bit confusion.

Mad engine though.

15 nails thing sounds.....nasty.

I spent a lot of season one being quite confused. It all makes sense now though :D

I've watched it all the way through now. I found the ending quite satisfactory, and I love the silly little previews in Kei.
