This phrase was used in "Sora o Kakeru Shoujo" without so much as a clue.

Luckily, it has a Wiki page all to itself. This probably means that sad gits like me are expected to understand it

a Japanese term to refer to the phenomenon of reclusive individuals who have chosen to withdraw from social life, often seeking extreme degrees of isolation and confinement due to various personal and social factors in their lives.

Actually, that sounds like me and half my friends <_<

Oh Pish!!

You're not properly reclusive, just a bit hibernatory which everyone gets like in fits and starts. For a start you have us over, and KW, and parties, and go to the pub, and shopping etc etc.

What's the Japanese word for "stays-in-a-lot-but-not-reclusive"??
