I'm sure I may have asked this before but what the heck.


I want to get a gmail account for the girlfriend, but here in blighty all google offer is a ???@googlemail.com rather than the ???@gmail.com you can get in Oz.

How do I do this without getting someone I know in Oz setting one up for me?

You need to go via a proxy server.

Try www.proxysurfs.com, it's a US server so if you go through that it'll think you're logged in from the US.
