Random anime recommendation.
Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann
Made by Gaimax the people who did NGE and Dead Leaves. Great story, animation changes seen to have stopped and now it's to a nice smooth style as it has been changing a little in past ep.
The show is about Simon and Kamina. Two guys who live underground (as do the rest of human kind) in a bit of a dead wasteland of an earth. They live underground thinking there's nothing up top, well Kamina knows there to be a surface.
Anyway, one day a giant face smashes into their tiny underground village and it all goes from there.
It's spin tingling good.

It's a mecha anime. Just about to watch ep. 4 and enjoying it so far. It's pretty typical Gaimax stuff; fast paced and crazy with a sexy busty kick-ass female lead.

I've just finished this, all 18 episodes plus the very short OVA.
Adam, did you get to find the ones after 13? It gets even better, although the style changes a bit.
All in all, I enjoyed it. I'm not really into shōnen mecha anime, but it's good. Even the ending was good. I wanted to see more of Boota, but you can't have everything :lol:

I'm planning to cosplay the lead wench, dunno her name. Skimpy outfit though. I've lost a lot of weight, so I think I will be fine :F
I don't like the anime, not because I saw it, but because of the hype. When it dies down I will watch it.

It's not making it onto my "top ten greatest ever!" list, but it was good fun. The battles are wonderfully ridiculous, and get bigger every week.
Two main female characters, I'm sure you mean Yoko Ritona. She's the kick-ass one with the big gun and big boobs. Nia is the other; wimpy little thing with funny eyes who can't think for herself.
