Title: Spam Filters

I've been using the free version of MailWasherPro to filter my Mum's email. She's on dialup and gets about 50 spams a day. Since she only checks her mail once a week, it makes it a nightmare for her! MailWasherPro looks a bit like Outlook Express, but automatically filters a lot of the spam and lets you delete it from the server without downloading it.

I've just realised there is a better way! I've now set my Gmail to automatically download all my mums spam which goes straight into the spam bin without me doing anything. Any real mail appears as normal, and I can forward it to her other secret account that doesn't get spammed...

If she didn't have one, and if she didn't live in France then I'd just set up a Gmail account for her. In fact, I probably will do that and set it up on Outlook Express when I go over there later this year.

The Google God. Answering all your internet prayers!
